Drone-based IR thermography (multicopter)
View the heat leaking from your buildings
Cythelia has developed a multicopter fitted with an infrared thermography camera and a HD camera.
Using a drone to produce an IR thermogram of the entire building complements ground-based thermographic surveys for detecting faults in the building, especially the roof and upper sections of the building envelope, and highlighting energy losses, particularly through « thermal bridges ».
Drone-based thermography acts as a link between manual ground thermography and aircraft-based aerial thermography covering entire districts. With a drone, thermographic surveys can focus on a block of houses or the building assets of a major company or local authority.
Cythelia has worked in partnership with IR thermography association AFTIB for many years and has delivered joint training courses on IR thermography.
